What is collected

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are stored in a private spreadsheet accessible only to me. This information is used solely to read and respond to your message. No data is sold, shared, or used for marketing.

Technical data

Your IP address may appear in server logs held by Vercel (the hosting provider) for up to 30 days as a standard part of web infrastructure operation. I have no direct access to these logs.

Language preference

Your chosen language (English or German) is saved in your browser's local storage. This is a functional setting — it never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

Cookies & tracking

This site uses no cookies, no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking of any kind. You will never see a cookie banner here.

Data transfers

Messages submitted via the contact form are processed by Google LLC (United States) under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Hosting is provided by Vercel Inc. (United States), also operating under appropriate data transfer mechanisms.

Your rights

• Under the GDPR you have the right to:
• Access — request a copy of any data held about you.
• Rectification — ask for inaccurate data to be corrected.
• Erasure — request deletion of your data at any time.
• Complaint — lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Germany: the Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz, bfdi.bund.de).
